On the Drawing Board

Yes, I shoot under TF (Time for Pictures or Images) arrangements.  But of course, arrangements like these should be mutually beneficial...  That is, both the model and photographer/artist (myself), should fairly benefit in these ventures. 

For me, I would likely shoot a model based on his/her experience, popularity, and opportunity, or if we're collaborating on a project that I've never done before and want to do it, or I had a similar project before and want to redo it.

Although this is not my "all inclusive list,"  below is a representative list of the projects that I'd like to do.
 

Lifestyle Portraits

Hard to believe that this is on the list, but I don't have a lot of lifestyle content on my website.  The style would be typical of graduate-style portraits  with models engaged in outdoor activities, hobbies, or sports.  I'm specifically looking for young models (teens and young adults) for these sessions.  Models should be fresh faces...   I'm not considering anyone who has an established body of work.  Note:  Models (male or female) under 18 years  old will need parental/legal guardian consent and they (the parent or guardian) must be present during shoot - no exceptions!
 

Little Girls Tea Party

Looking to shoot a group a little girls engaged in a festive tea party.  Looking for a lot of style here...  Girls in party dresses, ribbons and bows, and may be a kitty or two can join us!  Would need at least 5 to 7 girls around 7 to 8 years old for this project.  Again, I'll need parental/legal guardian consent with parents present during the shoot.
 

Boudoir

I really like this genre'!  Specifically, I'm looking to perfect my shadowing technique in Hollywood-style portraits.  And of course, I continue to experiment with different methods of lighting; therefore, I need willing subjects.

Note: These opportunities are only available to female models and you must be at least 18 years of age.  Projects in this genre' may require nudity, partial nudity, or implied nudity.
 

Bodyscapes

This is exactly what it sounds like...   Shots will be taken fairly close up to emphasize skin texture and the shape and curvature of the feminine form.   Often these images are taken under subdued lighting conditions to capture dramatic shadowing effects.  Most often, the model face is not in the picture.  Models should also be comfortable with their bodies.  Again, this type of opportunity is only open to female models, 18 years or older.  

Textures

This is a very unusual project and might be just the right addition to your portfolio.  I shot this concept before, but I want to redo it and better my work.  This project has two parts:  Sand and Mud.   

For the Sand part, the body of the model is breaded in sand, in various levels of coverage (all the way to approximately 85 to 90% coverage), during various phases of the session.  This set would be shot in a beach environment.

For the Mud part, mud is smeared on the model's body, in various levels of coverage (all the way to approximately 85 to 90% coverage), during various phases of the session.   This set would be shot in a woodland environment in or near a stream or pond.

Models should also be comfortable with their bodies.  Note:  These opportunities are only available to female models and you must be at least 18 years of age.   This project requires nudity.

Emphasis in my Textures project is on the feminine form and the contrast between the textures of sand and mud against smooth skin.
 

Selected Cosplay

Okay...  Okay...  I do have cosplay pictures in my portfolio, but I love DC comics and I don't have enough DC characters.  Specifically, I'd like to shoot Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, and the Teen Titans...  Oh yeah, let's not leave out any of the classic villains...  I'd like to shoot the Joker, Penquin, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, and Lex Luthor.  If I can get both, hero and villan, together that would be great!

Also, I shoot something every Halloween, so I usually shoot TF for my portfolio.

And of course, anything that is trendy...   I still would like to do some Game of Thrones Characters, Tomb Raiders, Jame Bond, and a couple of Indiana Jones themes as well.

Got another idea?  Try me...  Maybe I'll bite!

Artwork Based in Photographic Images

Okay...  Traditional artists usually have models pose for hours on end.   For me, I'd rather get some shots in the poses that I want and paint later.   With other types of projects, I'll shoot against a green backdrop and create composites; my cosplay concepts are often constructed this way.  If you're interested in creating some photographic artwork or artwork based on photographic images, please contact me.
